Weekly Surface News Roundup: Surface Phone is Still a Thing

A lot of rumors are going around that Microsoft is planning on releasing a Surface Phone. This phone would be different than the Lumina 950/950XL they just launched and would be more of a tablet made into a phone as opposed to a phone enlarged into a tablet.

Do you think Microsoft should release a Surface Phone? Would you get one?

Weekly Surface News Roundup SP4 Teardown

Weekly Surface News Roundup: Surface Pro 4 is Hard To Repair

In what should probably be filed under the “No S**t, Sherlock” section of this week’s Surface news roundup, the folks over at iFixit have done a tear-down of a new SP4 and discovered that it would be difficult to repair. They give it only a 2 out of 10 for a ease of repair score. Essentially, this means that if something goes wrong, it’s a paving stone.

That said, it’s fascinating to see inside a SP4 since few of us would be willing to shell out the cash just to tear it apart. So, head on over to iFixit to see what’s inside.
