Back in June, this is how the chart looked. The Surface Pro 3 was the most popular Surface device running Windows 10 despite it not running Windows 10 natively when it was sold.
But, the Surface Pro 4 was about to overtake the market share of the Surface Pro 3. Surprisingly, Surface 3 was still doing very well.
Well, 6 months later, here’s how it looks:
Surface Pro 4 gained its market share from 30.9% to 37.4%. Similarly, the Surface Book has increased its share from 3.6% to 6.0%. The biggest losers were the Surface 3 and the Surface Pro 3. Other older models have gained some ground too, presumably because more people have decided to upgrade to Windows 10.
And as a new entry, the Surface Studio has shown up at 0.1%!
