Cortana on Surface

Since Microsoft is planning on including Cortana in Windows 10, it means you’re (probably) going to be able to use Cortana on Surface tablets.

In case you haven’t heard about Cortana, it’s Microsoft’s version of Apple’s Siri and is intended to be a virtual personal assistant. Up until now, it’s been mostly a Windows Phone feature but it will soon be something you may use on your Surface tablet.

Here’s an interview with the Cortana Team Group Leader Marcus Ash talking about some of Microsoft’s future plans with their virtual personal assistant offering.

Personally, I’m looking forward to Cortana on Surface tablets. I think it will make a great device even more useful.
