Recently, Joanna and I acquired a “new on the shelf” 64GB Surface RT tablet. As we don’t have a use for it (we already have a Surface 2 running RT for testing), we are offering it up to our $10 (or higher) Patreon supporters.
This is an oldie but goodie, folks!
Ideal for kids, kiosks, elderly or anyone or anything that needs a secure Operating System.
The Surface RT tablets are still going for around $200-$250 on Amazon and are still a perfect tablet for the light computing tasks like email, web serving, video streaming, etc. Especially if you need to run them in a secure environment – Windows RT is a pretty secure OS that protects against viruses and malicious downloads.
Even if you don’t have a need for security, it’s still very useful to have around the house as a “utility tablet”, even if all you do is watch Netflix on it. And if you are new to Surface tablets, this Giveaway is a great way to try one out for FREE!

Surface RT Giveaway: Contest Details
Here are the details for the giveaway:
- The prize is a working “new on the shelf” 64GB Surface RT tablet with a power cord. (No Type Cover)
- To enter, you must become (or already be) a Patreon for Love My Surface at the $10 (or higher level) before February 5th, 2016. The winner will be chosen from this pool of Patreons.
- We will use a random number generator to select the winner from our $10 (or above) Patreons. The person whose name coincides with the number will be the winner.
- The winner selection will happen on February 6th, 2016
- The winner will be notified via email and will have 7 days to respond. If there is no response, the winning prize (Surface RT) will be forfeit.
- We will not be shipping the Surface tablet in the original box (too big to ship economically) but we will ship it via USPS in a secure package to ensure it arrives safely.
- We will assume the cost of shipping for to USA and Canada but if the winner is overseas, he/she will need to pay the shipping costs.
- The winner is responsible for any and all taxes/tariffs/legalities/etc. associated with receiving the prize.
- The Surface RT is the only prize option (No cash equivalent prize will be awarded).
- If you are already a Patreon at below $10, you can still qualify by increasing your support!
- Void where prohibited by law.
