You may remember an announcement at this year’s CES where three former Google engineers unveiled their Surface.
No, I missed that. What is the Remix Tablet?
The Remix tablet is an almost identical (slightly larger) copy of the Microsoft RT/2 line of tablets except that it will will use the Remix OS which is a re-worked version of Android that has been optimized for larger devices.
OK, so why talk about the Remix Tablet here?
The reason for this story is not just outline its similarities to Surface tablets but, also, to let you know that they started a Kickstarter campaign yesterday that has already exceeded it’s goal of $100,000.
